What drives me

Hi, it’s Vanya again.

I’m building Blans because I see how many small teams are looking for a simple and understandable tool — and can’t find one.

I have friends and colleagues from different fields — designers, marketers, product people, small agencies. They keep trying new platforms, but after a month or two they give up. The reason is almost always the same: “too complicated”, “too much stuff”, “I don’t know where anything is”, “I have to keep ten tabs open”.

They just want to work: see the board, keep documents close, not lose important company announcements. Instead they get either an overloaded tracker or a too-free builder that quickly turns into chaos.

That’s exactly why I’m making Blans.

I want to create a tool that feels pleasant and calm to use every day. Without extra noise, without the feeling that you’re constantly missing something. So the Kanban is clear, documents are next to tasks, and the company feed is in one place where nothing gets lost.

I’m not trying to build a platform for everyone. I want to make an honest and useful tool for real small, living teams.

If this sounds familiar to you — write and tell me how your workflow works. It matters a lot to me. Your stories are what help Blans get better.
